Allan Boyd & Maitland Schnaars – meet The Antipoet and The Enforcer.

These two seasoned WA poet/performers blend poetic language with spoken performance. Their combined lines of poetry are an attempt to invigorate your senses and entertain with verbal enthusiasm.

Described as “21st century performance poetry in your faces”, these boys will challenge your poetic expectations.

Allan Boyd (aka the antipoet) has been performing at and organising poetry, arts and music events since 1995. With a view to deliberately “fuck shit up”, he’s performed his “anarchist provocateur” performance poems at festivals and events around Australia.

Maitland Schnarrs (aka the enforcer – due to his brutally precise AFL footy skills) is a multi-faceted Nyoongar man – he’s a writer, poet, dancer, actor and myriad other performative things. He travels the globe pushing the boundaries of cultural expectations.
