New to the scene: Our unpublished, unsigned, bi-polar insomniac. Born and raised in a city that paved a thousand laneways, Armand’s late night meanderings have compiled a collection of works that expose an often raw and stirring perspective of our psyches and environments. Stability, the desire for the unpredictable, narcotics, purpose, the influence of location, casual/random sex and the struggle for universal belonging and sense of self are explored. Through his unique form of dark humour, sensitivity and personal truth – Armand delivers us into atmospheres as simultaneously unsettling and tranquil as the midnight alleys of Melbourne and the fleeting graffiti of their capricious souls.
