Jen Jewel Brown is a widely published multi-genre writer. Her work was in Best Australian Poems 2009 and 2010 (Black Ink). She won the Greater Dandenong Writing Awards Open Poetry Prize 2006, Victorian Writers’ Centre Poetry Cup Best Performer in 2004 and has been widely anthologised. A long term freelance journo who’s also had short stories published and an essay in Meanjin, she wrote Skyhooks’ Million Dollar Riff and poetry books Marsupial Wrestling, Alleycat, gutter vs stars and Great Southern (Vagabond Press Rare Objects 2010). She reviews poetry on 3RRR’s Aural Text, teaches Writing Fiction at Swinburne University and is a freelance program maker for ABC Radio National’s Hindsight.
