La Fatale or Lulu prefers quirky and exaggerated theatre forms and is best known for making things. Examples include the giant surfer-girl puppet which gyrated her way down Elizabeth Street to the sounds of Dick Dale, a life-size “prawn” with roving eyes, a lycra and rubber fish which flopped about on stage during “Bumble Fish” (La Mamma), several infamous colourful Bum-Ladies who can be seen about town sitting on people and most recently a large bag of silicone rotting hands full of goop which were used as projectiles on stage. Lulu continues to develop her skills and experiment and is planning future explorations in shadow-play and miniature theatre.
