Vanessa Roberts is a Melbourne-based poet. Tram Scribbles is her first publication and was shortlisted for the PressPress Chapbook Award 2010. She also writes a blog, Scribbley-Ness, capturing her unique insights into life, love and all that’s in-between.  Born in Perth, Western Australia, Vanessa spent hours on her grandmother’s typewriter as a child, giving her a love for the written word. She studied English and French at the University of Western Australia and spent five years teaching English in Mexico, Colombia and Brazil. Mexico City gave her an appreciation for wrestling, tequila and Mariachis.
